DESCRIPTION:https://mmiproservices.com/course-selector/\nOntario law requires any business that builds new homes or develops a new residential property for sale must be licensed.  In coming months the licensing authority will change.  Up to now\, the Tarion New Home Warranty Corporation has issued builder licenses and they remain the only authority for builder licensing at this time.  But that is changing.  By 2021 the licensing function will move to a new provincial body\, The Home Construction Regulatory Authority. \nThat transition can lead to uncertainty for builders/contractors.  Currently there is very little information available publicly about the new regulatory authority or how changes to licensing will be carried out.  This webinar is will describe what is known about the new regulatory process\, and how developers/contractors should proceed in coming months. \nWhile change can be confusing and leave you uncertain of the correct path forward\, there doesn’t need to be disruption to your plans.  Take a couple of hours here.  Get the facts and you can move your business forward with confidence that you can prepare for the coming changes. \nThis information is critical to new builders or developers who have not yet completed their licensing registration with Tarion.  However\, established companies will still find it informative to know what is happening with licensing in Ontario.
