We have a pretty generous refund policy. Actually it’s not technically a refund, because we don’t even ask you to pay until you have spent some time in a course and decide that it meets your expectations. In other words, it’s up to you to decide whether or not you want to pay in the first place. There are those who think that’s pretty risky, but experience tells us that it’s not.
We started out with that policy, not because we were counting on people to sign up for a second or third course. We really didn’t know that was going to happen. We didn’t implement a refund policy because it was low risk. And we don’t see high return rates because we have a refund policy. But both of those things stem from the same determination: that unless you find your time with us to be valuable, then you don’t owe us anything. In fact, we owe you an apology.
